Observing and taking action is a important factor in our society today. Growing up I was continuously agrivated at the treatment of human beings in our society. I was glued to watching cops mostly and seeing the treatment that criminals received throughout their arrest, and clearly being aggrivated at the treatment given depending on their reason for being arrested. I noticed that I had strong feelings towards the rights of people whether they were citizens or not. I feel like the overall treatment that citizens receive is harsh especially in poverty. The rights that we have tend to be flexible only towards the goverment and the people working for it, in result creating a unfiar rigorous atmosphere. Ranging from practices that police undertake in city schools to discrimination of people diagnosed HIV/AIDS, ACLU is a necessary union that is needed in our society to challenge the rights that we rercieve to becoming better so it not only benifits a few but many.
